The Central Coast Wine Region runs along a large portion of the California coastline.  The northern part covers the Livermore Valley,  Santa Cruz Mountains, Monterey, and Carmel Valley.  

The southern part of the Central Coast starts from Paso Robles to the Santa Maria, Santa Rita Hills and Santa Ynez Valleys in the south.
